The IRFSS Nouvelle-Aquitaine welcomed in Bègles 25 people, paramedic and social students, home helpers, trainers from our European partners for the first training activity of the project.
They worked on the different representations regarding the work of home helpers in Europe (France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal). Then, thanks to filmed simulation sessions, they recreated situations experienced by home helpers in their professional life. From these scenarios, they could identify interdisciplinary skills proper to the home help profession.
We will find these skills in the MOOC and in the tutorials that will be created during these two years of collaboration. The objective of these pedagogical tools is to enable home helpers to acquire the interdisciplinary skills defined in the AEFA Guide*, thanks to the situations they experience in their professional life.
